Summary

        Brisingr is the third book of the Eragon seires. It portrays the war against Galbatorix. At the beggining Eragon and Roran are Helgrind and they are determined to save Katrina, Roran's love. The only thing standing in there way are these ancient monsters called Ra'zac, they are followers of Galbatorix and do most of his dirty work, but compared to eragon these guys are pushovers. Eragon is worried for Roran's life so he casts a spell on Roran that he can't get hurt, in the end they save Katrina, Eragon discovers Sloan, he tells the others to go back to the Varden. Eragon exterminates the Ra'zac and gets information from Sloan, he decides against killing Sloan because he doesn't want to feel like an executioner so he tells him that he is never allowed to see katrina, he gives Sloan a staff that leads him to a place to cure him

    Eventually he returns to the Varden, Murtag shows up and challenges Eragon to a fight, the fight is a hard one for both competitors in the end there was no clear winner it was like a draw. Than Eragon relizes that he despretly needs his own sword. Soon after Roran and Katrina get married because Roran wants to do it fast so just incase he dies in battle, also because he is leaving onto a mission.  Nasuada then orders Eragon to attend the election of the new dwarf king to speed it up, she insists that Saphira stays behind so it looks like Eragon is still there so Galbatorix won't spring an attack on them. After the dwarf king has been elected Saphira comes and return to the elf kingdom for training. While all of this is happening Nasuada begs of Roran to become part of the Varden military force, he accepts and is sent on multiple missions he was succesful in most, but once he was relieved of his duties for insubordination.

                            Well after all this there is way too many exciting things I don't want to give away so i guess you just have to read this book.
